Description
Summary:Submitted in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree MTech. Business Information Systems. Tshwane University of Technology === Scores of students register with institutions of higher learning every year to improve their qualifications and academic lives. In return, institutions invest huge sums of money in Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance the learning experience. But the value and benefits of this initiative are not realized as these learning Management Systems often do not address the needs of learners and instructors. This study suggests a contextualized framework based on the learners, the learning task and the technology, in an e-Learning environment. The study explored ways by which LMS's could be utilized sensitive to the South African learners' context and background.
