In response to this challenge the CENTRAL UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, FREE STATE'S SCHOOL FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND BUSSINESS DEVELOPMENT (SEBD) developed and presented a foundation programme since 2001. This article is aimed at assessing its success.
