Summary:In 2013, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had a US$1.6 Billion deal to link the kingdom with Egypt via a 3,000MW- interconnection power grid. Unfortunately, the project has not been implemented on the ground because of the technical consideration. The principal objective of this paper is to provide a proper technical suggestion that will help to implement The Saudi- Egyptian Cross-Border Interconnections Power Network on the ground using systems engineering process.
