Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) forms a technical platform for other communication technologies, such as Frame Relay and ATM. This research incorporates design and development of the Virtual Visual System (VVS) to provide real-time video conferencing and surveillance applications over ISDN with good image quality and compatibility with other equipment. VVS includes video capture device drivers, software modules to allow real-time audio/video data transfer, camera controller module, and developer kit.
