referred to the Electromyography laboratory of the Boston Veterans
Administration Out Patient Clinic. Results from these tests in addition to
other nerve conduction tests performed between January 1984 and August
1986 in this laboratory were used to establish a database of normal nerve
conduction parameters for the motor and sensory nerves commonly
studied in the lower extremity, namely common peroneal, posterior
tibial, superficial peroneal and sural nerves. Nerve conduction
measurements including latency of onset, F wave latency, amplitude and
conduction velocity were analyzed for inter-relationships and
correlations with the independent variables which included age,
temperature, and leg length. === 2031-01-01
