PROCEDURE: The study required data in three areas: (1) academic achievement, obtained by teacher assigned marks, (2) school behavior, measured by the Rating Scale for Pupil Adjustment, and (3) self-concept, measured by the Q-sort designed for the study. Data were gathered as follows: (1) prior to the group counseling, (2) at the completion of counseling, and (3) at the completion of school. Students with averages two or more stanines below IQ stanines were considered underachievers, verified by teacher conferences and a record analysis [TRUNCATED] === 2031-01-01
