Summary:This study examined the effects of a contingency contract on the behavior of a sixth grade class in The Saturday Academy Program. Disruptive and off-task behavior was monitored and charted according to the frequency of occurrences that took place within the sixth grade classroom. Results showed that the frequency of occurrences in disruptive and off-task behavior decreased dramatically. Teachers within The Saturday Academy Program stated that the behavior of the sixth grade students had improved.
