The word error probability in the case when noises exist is analysed and the energy necessary for transmitting each information bit is calculated. The detection characteristics of this system are made clear by comparing it with a threshold type decision model and ordinary systems. It is shown that the maximum value type of decision scheme is always superior to the threshold type.
