Summary:ITC/USA 2015 Conference Proceedings / The Fifty-First Annual International Telemetering Conference and Technical Exhibition / October 26-29, 2015 / Bally's Hotel & Convention Center, Las Vegas, NV === This paper presents a frequency domain equalization (FDE) technique for aeronautical telemetry channels. The FDE has significantly lower computational complexity compared to its time-domain counterpart, however both are found to exhibit almost identical performance. A cyclic prefix is generally needed to implement the FDE. In this paper, we exploit the repetition of iNET preamble and ASM bits in place of cyclic prefix.
