| Summary: | Statement of the problem: It was the purpose of this study to survey the work being done in drama in Tennessee high schools. Specifically, the study was to determine which dramas were being read and studied in English classes, what the general policies and practices relating to high school dramatic productions were, and what efforts, if any, were being made to extend the student's interest in drama beyond the classroom situtation. An effort was also made to access the attitude and opinions of teachers concerning the study of drama. |
