Description
Summary:Keeping vehicles in good condition is key to any driver and haulage firm. By not providing simple and accessible means of reporting daily walkaround inspections, they are often done hastily or not at all, resulting in a decrease in uptime as well as road safety of the vehicles. Through close cooperation with haulage firms and development over short iterations, a prototype  of an Android application and a corresponding web portal for the reporting and managing of daily walkaround inspections has been created. When letting drivers and administrators evaluate the prototype  it has become clear that if done correctly, this type of support has a large chance of being positively accepted and used on a daily basis. This would provide the haulage firms with easily accessible information and statistics about their vehicles.
