This project aims to implement synchronous detection software in UV monitor and compare with the currently used method.In this report synchronous detection and the currently used detector was implemented to Raspberry PI, and the two methods were evaluated and compared in terms of noise (short and long term noise), drift and dynamics.The same hardware is used but the implementation was different, the result shows that there is no significant improvement in terms of noise, drift and dynamics. There is substantial opportunity for additional development for better hardware design and higher filter coefficients.
