Summary: | The purpose of the study is to investigate whether children's conflicts differs at different afterschool centers and how teachers handle and prevent conflicts. To answer our research questions, we have selected two schools to investigate, since we have used a qualitative method. We have interviewed leisure staff and observed the students and teachers during class and after-school activity. Afterwards the empirical material has been analyzed by using previous research and theoretical perspectives. We have concluded that the source of the conflict is often the common denominator for those two schools, but it differs in how the conflict then turn out and how it is managed |
