Description
Summary:This is a case study that aims to research whether the Swedish radical right Populist Party, the Sweden Democrats can be classified as a single- issue party or not, and even to see if the party broaden their political agenda. I will be conducting this research using both qualitative case study in the form of idea analysis and quantitative content analysis. The theoretical perspective leans on the political scientist CasMudde theory of the single-issue party and the immigration issue. The results of the study show that the Sweden Democrats cannot be classified as a single-issue, in that it fits the theory poorly.
