Description
Summary:In a society where more and more people are seeking medical care for their gender dysphoria, the society needs to be up to date with the latest research. There are many horror stories about how different the medical care for transgender persons is in different parts of Sweden, but there are also many positive stories. The following work is based on that society overall does not understand what transgender persons are going through when they are in the medical care. Through tests with transgender people, relatives to transgender people and others, along with surveys with transgender people in medical care, I have discovered a gap. The aim of this work and the draft proposal is to increase the knowledge of this matter and thereby increase the well - being of transgender people in the medical care.
