The work was also thought to have a positive impact on the organisation in terms of coping with changes in the surrounding. Arguments why small organisations do not work within the three areas mainly regarded decreased productivity. Lack of motivation, as well as not enough knowledge, was believed to hinder the work. Every person, at the studied organisations, seemed to be aware of why they do things at work and seemed to make individual mediation among given alternatives about work within the three areas.
