Summary: | This report describes the feasibility of attitude determination and control of the student satellite MIST. It investigates the stability and controllability of the satellite system, it covers attitude determination based on magnetometer and sun sensor measurements available and finally compares two controllers and the resulting pointing accuracy of the satellite. The study shows that the pointing requirements can be met under nominal circumstances. |
