Summary: | To reduce the effect on the environment heat recovery with steam engines who enables the utilization of cost effective and non-polluting thermodynamic cycles can be used. To apply a new type of high-speed steam engine concepts and construction drafts for pistons and piston rods need to be produced. By implementation of a mechanical model and customer-oriented concept work a concept for which a construction draft is developed. The results och the study includes the loads of the motor which are given by the program associated with the mechanical model and a recommended method for solving similar problems. Deviant points is discovered whose source is derived to dead points in the mechanisms of the engine. The dead points causes singularities in the equation system. A construction draft of the selected concept is being dimensioned and discussed. A parametric CAD-modell of the engine where geometries is governed by basic dependencies and input data has also been produced. |
