Summary:  This paper is about some educationalists views on what spirit of community  in a preschool means and how it is best created. The method used is the qualitative interview model. The educationalists in the interview are entirely unanimous on that a safe community  is an important cornestone and,  in fact, a basic condition for a good learning environment for all students. It is through interaktion with others that we develop and our identites grows and take form.     Spirit of communitiy can be created in many different ways but the most important thing is that it is handled as an ongoing process of devolopment. The aesthetic procedures are good tools for this purpose, because through the aesthetic school subjects we reach feelings within us that concerns us deeply. There are other important things which make us feel safe and united such as encouragement by contact and positive response between students and between students and teacher.
