Summary: | This paper aims to research how swedish and british literature visualise the decolonization of british colonies after the second world war. With the use of a qualitative research paradigm and a theoretical framework based on postcolonialism the study has found that several differences between the portrayal of decolonization have been highlighted. The main differences the study has found adhere towards the portrayal of African colonies. Furthermore, how information has been portportaryed and by whom is also a key difference between the literatures. Lastly, with the use of both swedish and british literature the study has identified a possible education plan covering decolonization and democratization. |
