Quality Factor of Horizontal Wire Dipole Antennas near Planar Conductor or Dielectric Interface
Quality factor of a dipole over a conducting ground plane is predicted. Quality factor is also generated as a function of the electrical ground separation and the electrical length. The optimal ground separation for largest bandwidth is obtained. A dipole near a dielectric interface is also studied...

Summary: | Quality factor of a dipole over a conducting ground plane is predicted. Quality factor is also generated as a function of the electrical ground separation and the electrical length. The optimal ground separation for largest bandwidth is obtained. A dipole near a dielectric interface is also studied for quality factor prediction. The predicted quality factor is generated as a function of position and electrical length. Quality factor is generated for a dipole inside the dielectric half space, and a dipole above the dielectric half space. |
