Summary: | Experimental determinations of limits on radiative effects in the Standard Model can be used to place limits on the mass of the top quark. This is exemplified by the comparison of the ⍴-parameter, as determined by neutrino-electron scattering experiments, to the radiative corrections to that quantity calculated to order g². It is suggested that an extension of the calculation to order g⁴ might significantly affect these constraints. Some partial results of such a calculation are given === Science, Faculty of === Physics and Astronomy, Department of === Graduate |
