Summary:The thesis for the Master of Music in Piano Performance consists of a solo and a chamber music recital. I performed the solo one on Tuesday, October the 31st, 2000, with the following program: -S. Rachmaninov (1873-1943): Sonata Nr. 1 in D minor: (Allegro moderato , Lento, Allegro molto); -D. Shostakovich (1906-1975): Two Preludes and Fugues: Nr.4 (E minor), Nr. 5 (D major); -L. van Beethoven (1770-1827): Sonata op. 31, No. 3: Allegro, Allegretto vivace, Menuetto- Moderato e grazioso, Presto con fuoco; -B. Bartok (1881-1945): Fifteen Hungarian Peasant Songs I performed the chamber music recital on Monday, April the 9th, 2001 in collaboration with the following musicians : Janina Kuzmas (piano), Phoebe Mac Rae (soprano), Eileen Walsh (clarinet), Philippe Castagner (tenor). The program consisted of the following works: -Henry Duparc (1848-1933): "Chanson Triste"; -Richard Strauss(1864-1949):" Cacilie ", " Morgen"; -Francis Poulenc (1899-1963): Sonata for clarinet and piano: Allegro Tristamente, Romanza, Allegro con fuoco, -Sergei Rachmaninov (1873-1943) Songs Op. 4, No. 4 ; Op. 21, Nr. 7; Op. No. 5; Op. 21, Nr. 6; Op. 21, No. 4; -Sergei Rachmaninov (1873-1943): Suite No. 2, Op. 17: Introduction, Valse, Romance, Tarantella, -Maurice Ravel ( 1875-1937) :" La Valse". === Arts, Faculty of === Music, School of === 2 compact discs === Graduate
