In recent years, the broadband technology has progressively matured, and the purpose of this technology is to provide fast and cost-effective services for multi-users. Thus, efficient and correct management of the bandwidth will reduce the network costs. Media streaming and P2P applications load heavily to the Internet and cause the network congestion. Therefore, the properly monitoring and regulating is essential. However, excessive control and limitation will cause a lot of software running unavailingly. This research is studying that under the condition of multi-users and higher complexity of environment existing with the heavy and normal software loading programs at same time, the system is still stable and able to efficiently and fairly guarantee the bandwidth with the right of priority during high loading. With many kinds of communicating and exchanging network services diversification, which result in the condition of occupying the various of data become worse and worse, and QoS(Quality of Service) research are gradually getting attention. This study focuses on network traffic management. We will build a mechanism to control bandwidth by using both of HTB(Hierarchy Token Bucket) and PCQ(Per Connection Queuing) on the Router OS platform.
