The data were collected from four caregivers of three different families who have finished the legal procedure of the sexual abuse event by the methods of purposive sampling and semi-structured interviews. The data were analyzed by the narrative approaches of Categorical-Content, emplotment and temperal sequence. The study found that in the external narrative processes, family caregivers usually confused the abnormal behaviors of female adolescents as sexual abuse victims with their rebellious behaviors during the adolescent stage before the sexual abuse event was disclosured. The disclosures of the sexual abuse events were delayed and knew by family caregivers till other people told them. After the disclosure of the sexual abuse event, family caregiver and whole family members experienced impacts and chaos for a period of time. In the internal narrative processes, this study found family caregivers experienced various and negative emotions and feelings responding to the disclosure process of sexual abuse event. And family caregivers adopted a veiled attitude to the sexual abuse event and overprotective strategies to the female adolescent victim. In the reflective narrative processes, this study indicated the family caregivers should correct their caring and supporting strategies by reflecting the past caring experiences for the female adolescent victims. Finally, they also reflected the meaning of role as a caregiver in the sexual abuse event and constructed a narrative with future. These study results could provide the practitioners and researchers about the caring issues for the female adolescent victims. Finally, the limitations of this study were discussed.
