Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 特殊教育學系 === 108 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of computer-based video instruction on teaching purchasing skills for elementary school students with intellectual disabilities. A delayed multiple baseline across participants combined with generalization probes design was used in the study. The independent variable was the computer-based video instruction, and the dependent variables were the immediate、maintainance and generalization effects of purchasing skills.
Data were collected on the -two subjects during baseline, intervention, and follow-up(maintenance and generalization) phases graphic display, visual analysis and the effect size were used to analyze the effects of computer based video instruction on teaching purchasing skills for the two participants. Social validity data were collected by interviewing significant others of the participants. Finally, recommendations for practical instruction and future research was suggested. Results of this study were summarized as follows:
1.The computer-based video instruction was effective on the acquisition of purchasing skills for the two participants.
2.The computer-based video instruction was effective in maintaining purchasing skills up to 7 weeks.
3.The computer-based video instruction was effective in stimulus generalization.
