Korean multinational companies have surged in Taiwan. The office employees working in Korean electronics industry were selected as the research subject in this thesis. Qualitative approach was implemented to investigate the impact of cross-cultural adaptation on companies’ organizational management-staff communication strategies. The findings acquired in this research can be used as references for integrating cultural diversity in companies’ organization in the future. In-depth interviews were conducted as the study tool to collect data on perceiving the experience and feelings of office employees working in Korean companies. Their communication predicaments and responses in tackling the issues were documented to help understand the communication difficulties the office employees in Korean companies have encountered. The results of the data analyzed are concluded as follows: 1.The backgrounds of the office employees working in the Korean companies: Owing to individual family backgrounds, personal traits, personal and working experiences, the office employees working in Korean companies address the issues in different manners. 2.The communication predicaments of office employees working in the Korean companies and their responses in resolving the issues: The obstacles encountered by the office employees derive from the perception of cultures, communication predicaments, and career prospects. 3.Despite the differences in the quality of management-and-employee relationships, the office employees prefer to maintain a harmonious communication at work as a sign of respect when considering the uniqueness and dissimilarities in "cross-culturalism’’ Heng-Yih Liu 劉恒逸 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 77 zh-TW |
