Summary: | 碩士 === 元智大學 === 管理碩士在職專班 === 107 === The Cathay Life Insurance company, trademarked with a Eucalyptus tree, is one of the leading insurance service companies in Taiwan. Through fifty years, the aging organization and increasing turnover rate of the firm has becoming a serious problem, which will eventually jeopardize to the development of the company in the upcoming future. Therefore, the management of the firm decides to includes more young human resource and expand the business scope of the company to e-commerce and overseas. However, the young human resource can increase not only annual revenue but also unexpected cost. Thus, this study aims to use Osterwalder’s Business Model to analyze the cost and benefit of the recruitment strategy and to offer some possible suggestions to the company thru interviews and a survey. As the result of the analysis, this study concludes that the firm shall include 12% young person for the new business areas and design a proper training system to speed up their learning and acquire necessary certification. In addition, the performance evaluation and reward system must be modified to offer incentives for senior staff. The profit margin is expected to increase more than 20% if the mentioned systems are well designed and implemented. Yet, the management of the company shall let staff understand the vision of the company for the upcoming fifty years.
