Summary:碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 應用外語系 === 107 === The purpose of this study was to investigate how family education and school affect sixth graders’ gender equality learning experiences in Chia-Yi City. The participants in this research were 221 sixth graders from two schools in Chia-Yi City. A quantitative approach was adopted and data was collected from particioants’ responses of a questionnaire. The findings revealed that: (1) the aim of promoting gender equality into curricula and teaching activities is effective; (2) family education has significant impact on gender equality learning; (3) school education has significant impact on gender equality learning. The results of this research indicated that both family and school education had positive influences on gender equality learning. According to the findings, some implications were also suggested for future research.
