This study aims to understand the key factors affecting the work motivation of teachers of the Hanoi Intermediate School, thereby suggesting solutions and recommendations to enhance the dynamics work force of Hanoi Community College teachers. The research model consists of 3 internal and 7 external factors affecting the motivation of teachers of Hanoi Community College. Internal factors include: Personal goals; Personal needs and Professional value. External factors include: Working environment; Leadership - Management; Income; Welfare - Union; Personal promote opportunities; Working conditions and School brand and culture. Qualitative research is conducted with leaders through in-depth interviews and discussions; Quantitative research was conducted with 252 lecturers (full-time, part-time and visiting lecturers) through a detailed questionnaire to evaluate research scales and models. SPSS 16.0 statistical analysis software is used to analyze data. The main research results include: (i) Measuring research variables reflects internal factors of teachers themselves and external factors in the working environment at Hanoi Community Intermediate School. (ii) Identify key factors affecting the motivation of teachers of Hanoi Community College are Working environment, Working conditions, Welfare – Union and Income . (iii) Testing research hypotheses about the difference in work motivation between the Hanoi Community College teacher groups and found only age and education degree are significant. In practice, the research results have helped the Hanoi Intermediate School to identify the key factors affecting work motivation, understand the aspirations and aspirations of teachers, thereby orienting the students. solutions and ways to promote work motivation of teachers in the future.
