The data were collected in a cross-sectional correlation study from “2013 National Health Interview Survey” using structured questionnaires. The sample consisted of 505 elder interviewees with diagnosis of stroke. All the variances were tested by Mann-Whitney U test, Kruskal-Wallis test and percentile. The variances of “gender”, “age”, “marital status”, “heart disease”, “osteoporosis”, “depression”, “capacity to act”, “ADLs”, “IADLs”, “attending religious activities”, “meeting siblings”, “meeting relatives”, “interacting with neighbors” are related to the quality of life among post stroke elder patients. Moreover, the risk factors are predicted by Multiple Linear Regression model first time, such as “female”, “more than 75 years old”, “diagnosis with osteoporosis”, “depression”, “difficulty with ADLs”, “difficulty with IADLs”, “do not attend religious activities”, “do not meet siblings” and “no neighbors”. However, the Multiple Linear Regression model above was tested by Vatiacne Inlation Factor test and “meeting relatives” and “meeting siblings” had high degrees of multicollinearity. The risk factors were predicted again as “married and staying with the spouse”, “depression”, “difficulty with act”, “difficulty with ADLs”, “difficulty with IADLs”, “no neighbors” with the Multiple Linear Regression model after deleted the two variances with high degrees of multicollinearity. Accoding to the result of the research, the advices of clinical work and policy making were suggested and the further research is needed to assess the relationship satisfaction, the injury regions of brain, and other social, environmental factors with the quality of life among post stroke Taiwanese elders.
