碩士 === 育達科技大學 === 文化創意設計研究所 === 107 === The society participation of senior citizen is one of the factors to maintain the healthy aging of the silver community. It is closely related to the mental and physical health of the senior citizen and their quality of life. How to make senior citizen society participation in the community activities continuously, find out the causes of the contribution and influence of the community to senior citizen , and improve the willingness of senior citizen to participate in and interact with the community is an important topic to be considered in the aging society. This study explored the influence and contribution of the community to senior citizen , conducted interviews with 13 senior citizen members in Taiwan, and collected and verified the data through qualitative research in-depth interview. Understand the needs of senior citizen for community and activity participation, and integrate the influence of senior citizen on community participation and the aging society. The study found senior citizen are not willing to bear the pressure and responsibilities after retirement and want to live a relaxed life. Community participation is highly motivated. It mainly focuses on self-learning and volunteer service, and mainly aims at interpersonal interaction and experience inheritance. Senior citizen ethnic group is quite concerned about whether the society is profitable or not. They hope that the society does not have profit-making activities and can volunteer to avoid conflicts of interest and business pressure.
