The research target participants were the followers in Ping-Tung county Wude martial arts training center and the research tool of ‘The traditional Chinese martial arts coach’s leadership and the followers’ goal-orientation survey questionare’ was applied. In this study, a total of 283 valid questionnaires were collected, 13 were invalid, and the effective questionnaire rate was 95%. Statistical analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, and Oneway ANOVA and Pearson product difference. The results obtained were: 1.The higher the coach’s leadership perceived by the martial arts followers, the higher the ‘goal-orientation’ perception; the lower the coach’s leadership perceived by the martial arts followers, the lower the ’goal-orientation’ perception. 2.The martial arts learners’ awareness of the coach’s ‘training and instructional behavior ‘, ‘care behavior’, ‘reward behavior’ and ‘democratic behavior’ have positive correlation with their goal-orientation, but the higher the perception of ‘authoritarian behavior’, the ‘goal-orientation’ motivational intention the lower. 3.In the background factors, the martial arts learners who participate in the Sanda project perceive that the coach’s ‘autocratic behavior’ was significantly higher than that of the routine players, and the self-orientation was higher than that of the routine followers, showing that the highly competitive situation improves the follower’s self-orientation. 4.In the background factor, the male learners perceive that the coach’s democratic behavior was higher than that of the female, and the male’s self-orientation was higher than the female in the goal-orientation. 5.In the background factors, junion high school learners perceive the coach’s ‘authoritarian behavior’ was higher. 6.Students with different years of martial arts learning have significant differences in the perceptions of coach’s ‘care behavior’ and ‘democratic behavior’.
