Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 運動教育研究所 === 107 === The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship among self-efficacy for exercise, physical activity, and physical self-concept of elementary school students. The study sample was from several national elementary schools in Taipei City, included 140 elementary school students (75 male students and 65 female students; average age 9.3 years). In order to measure their moderate to vigorous physical activity (MVPA), they were required to wear ActiGraph wGT3X-BT for 7 days. Elementary school students self-efficacy for exercise and physical self-concept survey scale was conducted in the research. All the data were analyzed by SPSS through Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient and path analysis. The findings were as follows: 1) There is a positive relationship between MVPA and the endurance, elasticity, and strength of the physical self-concept. 2) There is a positive relationship between the amount of self-efficacy for exercise and the flexibility, endurance, elasticity, and strength of the physical self-concept.3) There is a positive relationship between the amount of physical activity and self-efficacy for exercise.4) physical activity has no mediating effect on self-efficacy for exercise to physical self-concept. Conclusion:1) self-efficacy for exercise has an impact on the physical self-concept, and the higher the self-efficacy for exercise the students, the better the physical self-concept.2) In addition, when the physical activity (MVPA) is higher, the student's muscle endurance, bounce force and strength have a better trend. The higher the MVPA, the higher the student's muscle endurance, bounce force, and strength.
