It was firstly investigated based on current situation, then discussed in terms of variation given different background factors, and eventually analyzed for its predictive power. Questionnaire survey was adopted. Main participant consisted of preschool educators who conducted both teaching and administrative services at the sametime at public preschools in Taipei and New Taipei Cities during the academic year of 2018. A total of 520 questionnaires were distributed and, in return, 444 valid samples were collected, returned vate 92%. SPSS 22.0 on Microsoft Windows was used and analysuzed via descriptive statistics, t-test scores, one-way ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis etc. The results are as follows: 1. The current situation of overall work stress tends to fall in the medium-low range, with “workload” at the medium-high level in terms of pressure perception. 2. The current situation of overall job satisfaction tends to be highly satisfactory, with “work environment” being the most satisfying factor. 3. The degree of work stress perception varies significantly depending on the age, job title, length of service, current position, job addition, kindergarten size, and service area. 4. The degree of job satisfaction varies significantly depending on the gender, age, title, kindergarten size, service area and other background variables. 5. Work stress and job satisfaction are inversely related; the higher the work stress is, the lower the job satisfaction becomes. The overall results show that work stress has a significant predictive power for job satisfaction. Finally, based on the results, this study suggests specific recommendations to education administration, the affiliated preschool of a public elementary school, preschool educator, and future researchers. Keywords:job satisfaction, public preschool, preschool educator, teachers’ concurrently administrative, work stress Ho, Shi-huei 何希慧 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 221 zh-TW
