Abstract
The purpose of this study is: I. To know the current situation of the social support and participation motivation on national college basketball open group players. II. To compare the difference of the social support and participation motivation on national college basketball open group players. III. To compare the relation of the social support and participation motivation on national college basketball open group players. IV. To explore the prediction of the social support and participation motivation on national college basketball open group players.This research adopted the questionnaire survey, and the research object is national college basketball players in 106 academic-years. A total of 250 questionnaires were sent out and 250 were recovered, and the effective recovery rate was 100%. This study was performed by SPSS For Windows 22.0 statistical software, and using independent sample T-test, single-factor variance analysis, repeated-quantity single-factor variance analysis, snow-fee comparison, Pearson performance difference, and multiple regression. The results of the analysis are as follows: (1) There are four main factors in the social support of national college basketball open group players: "Coach Support", "Classmate Support", "Family Support" and "Team Support". (2) There are four main factors involved in the participated motivation of national college basketball open group players: "health demand", "achievement needs", "psychological technical needs" and "social needs". (3) Differences between national college basketball open group players in different background variables: genders, grades, school attributes, admission methods, training hours, seniority of participation, the highest level of personal sports during the university period, the level of basketball team, school locations. There are significant differences in these nine factors. (4) The positive correlation between the social support and participation motivation on national college basketball open group players. (5) The four factors of social support for national college basketball open group players can effectively predict the motivation for participation.
