This study used stratified random sampling and targeted those who attended elementary schools in Taipei in 2018. We sent out 1200 questionnaires, and 1017 were returned (84.75%). IBM SPSS Statistics for Windows 20.0 was used to conduct descriptive statistical test, Independent sample t test, Independent sample on one-way ANOVA test, and repeated measures ANOVA test. The results are: (1) Factors contributing to learning satisfaction of swimming classes among senior students are “peer relationships”, “teachers’ teaching”, “school administration”, and “places and facilities”. Senior students highly prioritise “peer relationships”. (2) Factors contributing to learning effectiveness are “affective learning”, “cognitive learning”, and “technical learning”. Senior students highly prioritise “affective learning”. (3) We observed significant differences between how the following factors affect learning satisfaction: gender, student’s grades, swimming skills, whether such school owns swimming pools, students’ prior experience in swimming, and the degree of swimming preference. (4) We observed significant differences between how the following factors affect learning effectiveness: gender, swimming skills, whether such school owns swimming pools, students’ start point of swimming learning, and the degree of swimming preference. (5) We observed a highly positive correlation between learning satisfaction and effectiveness of swimming classes among senior students in the elementary schools of Taipei City. 陳信中 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 95 zh-TW
