The subjects of the study were 24 fifth and sixth grade students, with 14 male and 10 female. The conclusions derived from this study are as follows: 1.Gratitude education helps students express their gratitude towards teachers. 2.Gratitude education helps students in their cognitive, affective, and behavioral understanding towards gratitude. 3.Better results were achieved when films and picture books were used as the teaching materials for gratitude education. 4.Comparatively more problems were encountered when music was used as the teaching material for gratitude education. 5.Longer teaching times are required when implementing gratitude education. Based on the above conclusions, this study raises the following suggestions: 1.Gratitude education should be integrated into every subject. 2.Teaching materials should be selected based on the different characteristics of each material. 3.The teaching materials for gratitude education should be selected based on how well they correspond to the intelligence and interests of fifth and sixth grade students. 4.Future studies may be expanded to use first to fourth grade students as the subjects. 5.Research into gratitude can be expanded to other research subjects and contents.
