To achieve the objective of the research, qualitative research methods were employed and 27 sixth graders in Class 6-A in the New Taipei Metropolitan Area were research subjects. The data were collected and analyzed through observation records, the researcher’s reflective journals, the students’ reflections, worksheets and interviews. The conclusions drawn from the research are as follows: 1.Students with greater role-taking ability have empathy, while those with lower role-taking ability lack empathy. 2.Students with greater role-taking ability empathetically make moral judgments when facing moral dilemmas. 3.6th graders are mostly in stage 4: law and order orientation of Lawrence Kohlberg’s theory of moral development. Based on the above conclusions, the following suggestions are put forward: 1.Curriculum designs should have features and connection to everyday life and include scenarios of high-conflict moral dilemmas. 2.Teachers should have diverse teaching strategies and provide students with timely guidance on their ways of thinking in an unhurried manner. 3.Effectiveness evaluation should be done through multiple methods. 4.Suggestions for future research: (1)Research subjects can be broadened to include students with different grades. (2)Teaching materials and themes of curriculum design should be more diverse. Zhang, Duo-Yan 張鐸嚴 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 166 zh-TW
