Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立大學 === 運動科學研究所碩士在職專班 === 107 === Purpose:This paperillustrates the effects of probiotics on Concentration and Memory of elementary students. Methods:Using 32 male elementary school children as test subjects, the researcher randomly divided them into an experimental group (probiotics) and a control group (placebo). The former group took probiotics supplements for four weeks. Then this paper argued the effects of probiotics based on the observation of the difference in concentration and memorybetween these two groups, and the relevance to the self-discipline nerve. Results:There was no significant difference among experimental group (probiotics) and a control group (placebo). However, the experimental group was divided into two groups according to the level of parasympathetic nerve activity, the researcher compared the differences between before and after taking probiotics. The change of group with low sympathetic nerve activity of concentration were 111.2± 8.7 and 88.1± 6, and the change of memory were 21.8±1.31 and 27.5±1.3.There was a significant(p<0.05) difference between before and after taking probiotics with low sympathetic nerve activity. Conclusion:To elementary students with low activity of parasympathetic sympathetic, by supplementing probiotics could improve their concentration and memory.
