He is known as “Maestro delle Nazioni” because he had created the first violin school in Europe. He followed Arcangelo Corelli, brought the violin-playing to another peak. Italy’s “Bel canto” also affected Giuseppe Tartini’s style and his composition. This treatise is divided into four chapters with a conclusion. Chapter one including motivation, purposes, range and methods about this research. Chapter two provides a biographical sketch of Giuseppe Tartini and discusses about the historic background of his Devil’s Trill .Chapter three gives a musical analysis of the Kreisler edition of the Devil’s Trill Sonata. Chapter four is the interpretation of this work. Conclusion including an overall conclusion of this treatise. Keywords: Devil’s Trill, Violin Sonata, Tartini, Italy
