Description
Summary:碩士 === 環球科技大學 === 生物技術研究所 === 107 === This thesis is to study the use of chitosan-poly aluminum chloride (PAC) complex flocculant to process pig wastewater which is after solid-liquid separation through flocculation and sedimentation to substitute the inefficient traditional three-stage wastewater process. In this study, at first the turbid water was prepared by using kaolin, and then the turbidity of the water was measured by cup test to evaluate the optimum mixing ratio and coagulation conditions of the composite flocculant, after that, the composite flocculant was evaluated and find out the best conditions for pig wastewater process. The results showed that the composite flocculant mixed with 3.5% poly aluminum chloride and 0.1 % chitosan in a ratio of 1:2 mixing with the turbid water prepared by kaolin, the gelation of the produced coagulum is beter and turbidity removal efficiency is the best. By processing the pig wastewater with the same composite flocculant and operating conditions, it can remove 99.37% of the turbidity and 92.66% of the chemical oxygen demand (COD),which is far lower than the national discharge water standard and also with the advantages of short time and large processing capacity. This can effectively solve the problem of inefficient and high cost of the three-stage wastewater process system for pig wastewater.
