Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 電機工程學系(所) === 107 === Many islands in Philippines adopt the diesel generators as main power generation system, resulting in the relatively high costs due to transportation and fuel. At the same time, their carbon emissions are also serious. In some small islands, the electricity is provided by diesel generators only in the nighttime while some other larger islands have an all-day electricity supply. In order to reduce the dependence of diesel generator, provide all-day electricity supply and protect the benefits of both economic and environmental aspects, the designing and planning of the microgrid system in Philippines Islands are discussed in this paper. The newly established photovoltaic system and energy storage system are integrated with the existing diesel generator sets to operate the various scenarios, such as islanding mode, grid-tied mode and peak load shifting, in the expect of stable electricity supply.
