Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北藝術大學 === 美術學系碩士在職專班 === 107 === The dominant motive of this creation statement is the exploration of freezing point. It takes the connotation of the coexistence of coalescence and evanescence held by freezing point as the main structure of the creation of this series of art works divided into two categories : the artificial objects and the natural objects. Each painting focuses on one single object to interpret the status of life transferred into images with the language of freezing point. It is the representation of the experience of real life.
There are four chapters :
Chapter one Introduction. This chapter is dealing with the inspirations inspired by memory, the experiments and explorations on the visions and thoughts of both ice and freezing point.
Chapter two Painting methods which are connected with photography. This chapter focuses on figuring out how artists interpret the indivisible influence between paintings and photography by applying the method of combining photographic techniques and painting methods. It tries not only to explore the thread of photo realism but also the form in accordance with which the author creates all his works based on techniques of photo realism.
Chapter Three Explorations on the qualitative and meaning of frozen objects. This chapter studies the fabric of the language of the artwork, applying the vocabulary used by two artists whose theme of artwork is ice. Then the various vocabulary developed by interpreting the theme of paintings and the idea of the author.
Chapter Four Painting as an interface of reflection(the study of the form of the art work). This chapter deals with the image analysis of the art works translated into paintings from the photographic image, to master the convey and the comprehend of the artworks — from the visual image to the meaning of work. Furthermore, to analyze the meaning of images from the author ‘s own creation.
