Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所 === 107 === The purpose of this study is to understand the connotation and degree of the needs of professional growth for nurse staffs in New Taipei City Junior High School and Elementary School, as well as to analyze the differences in the needs of professional growth and connotations in different background variables. This study has adopts the questionnaire survey method, taking the nurse staffs in New Taipei City Junior High School and Elementary School as its research object.There are totally 405 people in this maternal group to conduct a census, and a total of 308 valid questionnaires. Given the facts stated above, and after data analysis with descriptive statistics, the study has reached the following four conclusions: First, there is a high level of demand to the needs of professional growth among nurse staffs in New Taipei City Junior High School and Elementary School. Second, “emergency injury treatment” and “familiar with medical regulations” are the two most demanded aspects for the needs of professional growth for nurse staffs in New Taipei City Junior High School and Elementary School. Thirdly, in different background variables lead to the change of demands in needs of professional growth for nurse staffs in New Taipei City Junior High School and Elementary School, the highest demand for “age” is “under 40 years old”; the highest demand for “level of education” is “bachelor degree”; the highest demands for “school nursing experience” are “under 5 years” and “5 years (inclusive) or more - less than 10 years”; the highest demand for “clinical nursing experience” is “20 years (inclusive) or more”; the highest demands for “area of school” & “type of school” are “remote schools” and “elementary & junior high schools”; and the highest demand for “numbers of school classes” is “39 classes or below”. Forthly, under the different background variables, the top three needs of professional growth for the various nursing work connotations are “emergency injury treatment”, “familiar with medical regulations” and “data management”. This research has been put into efforts with humble expectations that the conclusions of this study can be of any help to the educational institutes, the government and the medical community as a whole. Finally,according to the research process and results, specific suggestions are proposed for the administrative agencies, educational institutions, school nurses, and successive research.
