Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木工程系土木與防災碩士班 === 107 === The behavior of submarine pipelines subjected to loads belongs to finite deformation. Thus, it is used to be solved by nonlinear analysis. During the process of laying a floating pipeline, it is subjected to forces, including an axial load exerted by the barge, and the hydrostatic pressure, waves and current, the self-weight of the pipeline, and contact force to seabed. In particular, this paper discusses the hydrostatic pressure applied on the pipeline. When a floating pipeline is subjected to external force or water filling, the hydrostatic pressure will change along with the deformation of the pipeline. Follower force stiffness matrix is derived to account for the hydrostatic pressure interacting with the deformation of a pipeline. In this paper, in order to consider geometrically nonlinear analysis of a pipeline, the external force is divided into several increments to apply. A each increment, elastic stiffness matrix, geometric stiffness matrix, and follower force stiffness matrix are calculated. An incremental-iterative method is implemented to ensure that unbalance force can converge and the pipeline reaches to final equilibrium position.
