Diversification requires the fully devotion of professional and talented human resource. This research is to discuss several issues as follows: the importance of family business diversification, the potential problems or benefits derived by hiring professional manager from outside of family, the possibility to release the company shares or stocks to professional manager to foster his/her loyalty and motivation to the family business entity, the common phenomenon of CEO duality in family business, the impact of profit-sharing plan to professional manager willingness to engage in diverse operation development. This research concludes as follows by using partial logistic regression statistic method.1. The profit-sharing can be a means to promote the professional manager loyalty to sustainable and diverse development aligned with family business’s ultimate goal.2. CEO duality in family has positive impact on professional manager loyalty to the family business entity and also foster the development toward diversification. Reversely, when stock earnings deviation is high may cause trust issue between family business and professional manager, it will decrease professional manager willingness to the direction of diversification.
