Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 管理學院EMBA泰國專班 === 107 === In the world today, we face a rapid development of science and technology, it makes an interaction between countries become more and more integrated. This is an era known as the Global Village, companies in various countries cannot rely solely on their own home markets to survive. For Companies, overseas markets have become another big chance to expand their living space. Keep an eye on the oversea market, companies accelerate their investment to overseas market and send their internal manpower into their oversea subsidiaries to grab their commercial profits. However, the persons dispatched into the working environment of different culture by their home companies can survive or not, then well work to achieve the expected efficiency requested is a big issue to their home companies. How to survive to work successfully under different cultural environment, it is a considering of this study.
The content of this study is based on the collection of an experience of leadership effectiveness from 3 persons who come from 3 Taiwan companies and 2 persons from 2 Japanese companies located in Thailand. Since there are a different focus and evaluation to the general behavior patterns of Thai worker between the Taiwan resident directors and the Japanese resident director, it triggers another notice of compound cross-cultural adaptation mentioned in the study. For those who need to work in different countries in the current world a global village, or work at companies having internal people from the different cultural, it is a subject to be paid attention.
