Therefore, some taxi drivers choose not to join the fleet, but to operate customized services, such as chartered tours, moving and airport transfers, etc., seeking opportunities for transformation. This thesis has implemented an Android application which combines passenger matching and instant traffic conditions. It provides diversified passenger matching platform for information sharing for taxi drivers. This system has three cores: passenger matching, instant traffic conditions, and the community. The passenger matching is divided into condition matching and hitchhiking. The condition matching can filter the eligible orders according to the taxi's service items. The hitchhiking provides user post the route planning to actively find passengers. Instant traffic conditions provide the latest traffic information, avoid construction and accidents, or share passenger hotspots to other users. This system also designed a community system that allows users to communicate or build their own virtual fleet.
