Since Chinese brushes are constructed by a lot of tight hairs, there would be different color effects in the same stroke. Ink can also be watery and would diffuse in water. Therefore, the color effects of Chinese calligraphy are very complicated. Because of its complicity and irregularity, bitmap image is always the first choice when simulating Chinese calligraphy. Therefore, it is hard to find any discussion on simulating Chinese calligraphy effects with vector graphics. This essay proposes a texture-based Chinese calligraphy drawing system in pure Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) form. Users can draw strokes and form word in Chinese calligraphy style and save the result as SVG. HSIEH, TUNG-JU 謝東儒 2019 學位論文 ; thesis 34 zh-TW
